I'm considered the computer/internet geek in the family and very few of my relatives and friends understand why I blog or even what blogging is all about. I try to explain, but I get a lot of eye-rolls that signify that I need to "get a life." It's all good; I get that we all have our different interests and I'm OK with that.

What they don't "get" however... is that if it weren't for all the talented food bloggers out there, many of those tasty things they find on their plates would never have come to fruition. It is the generous sharing of recipes and technique that has made it possible for me to learn how to cook and bake. Such is the case of today's delicious little delight. Shelby at "
The Life and Loves of Grumpy's Honeybunch" shares this wonderful
recipe for Mini Blueberry Crumb Tarts. They're cute, they're sweet, and dog-gone-it, you'll be able to say that you made them yourself! (in other words, they're easy as 1,2,3... even if you're culinarily challenged.) Thanks for sharing Shelby. The family loved them!

I won't reprint the recipe here because I made them per Shelby's recipe without making any changes. Well, unless you count the fact that I simply had to top mine with whipped cream!

These look fabulous! Perfect for the 4th of July, too - with the beautiful blueberries and white whipped cream!
I love individual little desserts. It makes everyone feel special. And these look particularly good. I will be making these in the very near future.
I understand about the nonbloggers sharing your passion. None of my friends are very savvy when it comes to computers. Thank goodness I have Pap, he was a software developer for Michelin Tire. And my daughter and son-in-law, both are computer science majors from Georgia Tech.
Jen: I know! Now I'm wishing I'd have made half with strawberries and half with blueberries, just for the patriotic appeal.
Moogie: You're surrounded by geeks! I'm so jealous!
They indeed look so cute! Nice dessert for the summer! :)
I'm so glad you cut into one (for research purposes only, I'm sure) so I can see the interior--it just looks delish, especially with the whipped cream mixing into it. YUM!
Karine: Thanks for commenting!
Linda: I did this for you (strictly for research purposes)
Glad they were enjoyed! Love the photos!
