This week's Bread Baker's Apprentice Challenge was all about making the most fabulous cinnamon raisin bread you'd ever want to bite into. I'm not kidding. I'm a kidder by nature, but I'm not kidding about this. Even kidders-by-nature don't kid about such things as cinnamon raisin bread. This was... The. Best. Cinnamon. Raisin. Bread. Ever. (Have I made myself clear?)
When I think of cinnamon raisin bread, I'm automatically drawn toward the toasting of such. I don't think I've ever eaten cinnamon raisin bread without toasting it first, in fact. This bread's destiny is to be toast. (YEAH TOAST!) I apologize in advance for this audio clip, but it just tickles me every time I hear it on the radio.

Nice! I can't wait to make this. We're going on vacation next week, and I was going to wait until we got back to make this recipe. But now I'm thinking I might bake while were on vacation.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. We're already well into the second loaf!
The only negative to reading your blogs is that they leave me hungry : ) Happy birthday, Maggie...
Thanks John! (but I'm not having birthdays anymore, remember?...lol)
This loaf looks awesome. Cinnamon Raisin Bread if my favorite toasted anytime of day. Of course, I have to top it with some real butter and sometimes with cinnamon sugar...yummm
I am so with you on this one! The. Best. Ever. I think we're gonna have to find a 12-step program for cinnamon raisin bread lovers. Yours turned out so much more beautifully than mine. I'm only a little jealous, though, because the taste was unbelievable.
Seriously the BEST! YES!
I agree this is very addictive toasted with butter. Yours looked very yummy.
